This comprehensive orientation is designed to be a starting place for those considering jumping into business for the first time. The workshop will provide you with a start-up guide, as well as a general overview of the things to consider when starting a business such as: • Business Licensing Requirements • Business Taxes You Are Required To Pay • Legal Form of Organization • Components of a Business Plan • Marketing.

PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TRAINING EVENTS; payment must be received to guarantee your space in an event. To register & pay by credit card, click on the blue "REGISTER NOW” button and follow the instructions. To pay by check, please make your check payable to Napa Valley College and mail to Napa-Sonoma SBDC, 2277 Napa-Vallejo Hwy, BLDG 3300, Napa, CA 94558. Please note that your payment must arrive before the start of training to secure your space. All trainings require a minimum number of students and, therefore subject to cancellation 48 hours in advance of the training event.  Registered students will receive an email at time of cancellation. All fees are refundable up to 24 hours before training event.  Please note that refunds for Food Safety Trainings require a 48 hour notice.
