Beginners Level With QuickBooks learn how to easily create professional looking invoices, financial statements and computer-generated checks. QuickBooks also provides the structure to manage accounts receivable and payable, customer and vendor lists as well as track your business’ financial status. This workshop will cover setting up your company and Chart of Accounts, generating invoices, tracking receivables and payables and creating reports.

Pre-requisite of Build a Better Business: Recordkeeping or basic accounting knowledge required. Instructor uses QuickBooks desktop version. Please note that this training is not a hands-on computer workshop.

PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TRAINING EVENTS; payment must be received to guarantee your space in an event. To register & pay by credit card, click on the blue "REGISTER NOW” button and follow the instructions. To pay by check, please make your check payable to Napa Valley College and mail to Napa-Sonoma SBDC, 2277 Napa-Vallejo Hwy, BLDG 3300, Napa, CA  94558.  Please note that your payment must arrive before the start of training to secure your space.  For questions or if you are having trouble registering & paying online, contact the SBDC Office at 707-256-7250. 

All trainings require a minimum number of students and, therefore subject to cancellation 48 hours in advance of the training event. Registered students will receive an email at time of cancellation. All fees are refundable up to 24 hours before training event. Please note that refunds for Food Safety Trainings require a 48 hour notice.
