SBDC Restaurant Specialist, Louise Dawson, will review the importance of writing a restaurant business plan, which will be required by most landlords and investors. Strategies and organizational techniques will be offered to help attendees work through the process. Topics covered include concept development, creating a marketing plan and understanding financial projections. The second half of the seminar will focus on the types of financing available for restaurant projects. This includes qualifying for SBA and other similar loans, micro-loans and putting together investor packages to attract private funding. A Q & A session will be provided with industry leaders in finance.

PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TRAINING EVENTS; payment must be received to guarantee your space in an event. All trainings require a minimum number of students and, therefore subject to cancellation 48 hours in advance of the training event. Registered students will receive an email at time of cancellation. All fees are refundable up to 24 hours before training event. Please note that refunds for Food Safety Trainings require a 48 hour notice.
