Sonoma County Ordinance Fines Non-Complying Businesses

On 8/6/2020, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approved a code enforcement ordinance that allows the issuing of citations for both residents and businesses for non-compliance with local and state health orders related to the Coronavirus. Businesses could face up to $10,000 in fines for non-compliance. Download Info Flyer

  • 1st Violation = $1,000
  • 2nd Violation = $5,000
  • 3rd (and following) Violation = $10,000

Businesses are required to follow the Social Distancing Protocol & COVID-19 Site-Specific Protection Plan in order to be compliant.
