Aug 28 Update - Blueprint for a Safe Economy
Governor Gavin Newsom rolled out the Blueprint for a Safer Economy, a statewide, stringent and slow plan for living with COVID-19 for the long haul. It includes county-by-county information as well as many questions and answers about operating safely.
In addition to your county requirements, businesses must also adhere to any state and federal mandates for safety.
The State of California requires all businesses to:
- Perform a detailed risk assessment and implement a site-specific protection plan (SPP)
- Train employees on how to limit the spread of COVID-19, including how to screen themselves for symptoms and stay home if they have them
- Implement individual control measures and screenings
- Implement disinfecting protocols
- Implement physical distancing guidelines
